did a similar love letter purge myself recently! can't believe you incinerated those letters and threw them in the Dee... nice work!
hmmmmm now the last few times i have tried to put my rant on here it hasnt worked, so incase this does suffice it to say DONT THROW OUT YOUR DIARIES
when we were younger and you told me about your mum's diaries we told each other that we would never let the other do that to our own diaries. and that was even in the middle of all the bad stuff. Those things helped you so much at the time and yes while i imagine that they are not a happy thing to read through, in keeping them it does not mean that you need to ref back to them on every occasion. can't you just keep them in your parents loft- just so they are as good as thrown away but if you ever want them back (like your mum said she did) you can still get them?even if it is just for one of those times when we are arguing about the exact date that something happened on. i remember times you have proven me wrong (and of course right!!hahah)vby referencing back to those trsuted excerise books.
please peter. rant over
mate
