I feel the way you feel about God sometimes. I don't always have that awe factor and that excitement but that's life. I think you are feeling a normal way to feel.
completely empathise mate. isn't there a clarity that comes with the rational belief, though, that you don't get with the purely emotional faith? if you can say that "it makes sense for God to exist", that's a huge statement in itself, and one to be proud of - you've got the balls to have that opinion and say it. emotional reactions to life fade as you get older, so it's inevitable, i think, that any spiritual engagement fades in a similar fashion, and what you think in your head becomes a rock to lean on. just rambling thoughts...
