Drowning slowly in irony

I watched Top Of The Tops on Friday. G4 (who oh so sadly don't have a website I can link you to) were on it singing their cover of Creep by Radiohead. Hearing them sing:

I'm a creep

I'm a weirdo

What the hell am I doing here?

I don't belong here

was almost too much for me to bear. I almost choked on the irony that was issuing forth unstoppably from the TV.

Talking of choking, I had a dream last night about trying to eat a slug. It was only small, but the damn thing was sticking onto my tongue so I couldn't swallow it. So that was a pretty rubbish dream on the whole.
